On Doing your best.

My guess is that you tend to overcomplicate things.
Am I right?

No judgment; overthinking and over-processing is actually a natural part of being human. Our minds always want to figure out all the possible angles. But this overthinking can create harmful side effects - like loss of sleep, anxiety, overwhelm, and loss of self-confidence.

There is a simple question that helps cut through the endless circling of the mind drain.

Would this query be helpful to know?

As a parent, I found myself often encouraging my daughters to avoid overthinking with this question. Once the answer has been explored, I encouraged them to call it a day.

Ask simply this:

Did you give it your best?

If not, get back on the horse.

If yes, hang up your spurs and take a rest.

Yes, the answer really can be that easy.

Or might you be overthinking even this practice? 😊

Till next time, wishing you a clear head and the ability always to give life your best and call it a day thereafter. (HERE for you if you need help in this area.)
